Our authors seem to get into trouble all over. Medea Benjamin, author of DRONE WARFARE: KILLING BY REMOTE CONTROL (to be announced next week) just got kicked out of Bahrain. Medea, co-founder of the anti-war group CODEPINK, is fearless despite having been arrested countless times. Here’s a recent pic, taken just before she was deported: she may be the self-labeled “unarmed civilian” in the crowd, but she’s proving to be a force to be reckoned with.
